“They’ve got to dig up the medicines, to heal the people. And the medicines, in this case, are the teachings. They’ve got to dig them up! You’ve got to find them!”

What is the Food Sovereignty Challenge?

The Indigenous Food Sovereignty Challenge is an opportunity for Indigenous people and allies to take steps to strengthen the food sovereignty of our families, communities and nations through education, personal and collective action.

This challenge comes in the form of an email campaign that is sent out weekly for the next 52 weeks. Each week, those who have signed up will learn about our traditional foods across Ministik (North, Central and South America), receive recipes to try out, be introduced to traditional food skills, learn about food sovereignty topics, and hear about incredible projects centering on Indigenous Food Sovereignty.
