Within Our Programs

All of our 6 month and 12 month programs include weekly Michif lessons for beginners (which draw upon resources from many sources) and a Monthly Michif Speaker’s Circle where we can practice the words we are learning. These resources are available for free to all of our full program participants.

Michif Dictionary

This online Michif dictionary allows you to search both words and phrases in English and offers the translation in Michif. With two versions (Northern Michif and Heritage/Southern Michif), this is a great tool that we have been calling upon regularly in our lessons.
