Tihkinâkan Making (Cradleboards)

Join us and make a tihkinâkan worthy of passing on for generations within your family or community. 

Raising our babies with love and care is an important part of our traditions within our families. Cradle boards (as they are known in English), allow us to keep baby close and protected while daily life happens around them, they allow babies to be carried securely, and to be observant of the world around them. 

This 2 day tihkinâkan workshop offers everything needed to create a cradle board that you can customize and make your own.
