Tapping trees

At the end of winter comes some of the very first harvesting of the year…sap harvest and syrup making! These important traditions begin with one skill…tapping trees. In the class we will learn how to tap trees and collect sap for drinking, and syrup making! Join us as we learn this important and delicious skill. Please note, we will discuss but will not display the reduction of sap into syrup in this class.

This is a 3 hour class that starts at 6pm MST.

There are no refunds on online classes, however, a recording will be available for you to watch afterwards.

I support indigenous people who are reclaiming their indigenous roots to connect with their culture through learning the traditional skills, arts, stories and teachings of our ancestors. I support indigenous people, who are severed from their traditions by legacy and trauma of colonization, who are discovering that their culture is beautiful. I teach indigenous arts workshops such as beading, moccasin making and brain tanning as a means of reconciliation and reconnection.
