Description
Traditional Metis ribbon skirts were made with linen or cotton, sometimes wool, and gathered or pleated at the waist, rather than using printed cotton, with elastic. Modern ribbon skirts are beautiful, but there is something elegant and hardy about our traditional skirts, sewn in time honoured ways. This class will combine a live online zoom class, prerecorded videos, and written instructions.
Join us September 28th to make a traditional Metis ribbon skirt!
A materials list will be given to all registered participants.
